Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Furrly mobile application ("App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Furrly, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Furrly is a pet health tracking application that allows users to:
- Store and manage pet profiles and health records locally on their device
- Track medications, vaccines, and vet visits
- Use an AI-powered symptom checker for general guidance
- Export health summaries as PDF (Premium feature)
3. Medical Disclaimer
IMPORTANT: Furrly is not a veterinary service. The AI symptom checker is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a licensed veterinarian for your pet's health concerns. Never delay seeking professional veterinary advice based on information provided by this app.
4. User Accounts and Data
Furrly does not require account registration. All pet health data is stored locally on your device. You are solely responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the information you enter and for the security of your device.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
Furrly offers a free tier and a Premium subscription with the following terms:
- Premium subscriptions are available as monthly ($2.99/month) or annual ($19.99/year) plans
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings
- No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods
- Free trial periods, if offered, will be specified at the time of purchase
6. Restore Purchases
If you have previously purchased a Premium subscription, you can restore it at any time using the "Restore Purchases" option on the upgrade screen. Restored purchases are subject to verification by Apple.
7. Free Tier Limitations
Free tier users receive 3 AI symptom checks per month. This limit resets at the beginning of each calendar month. Furrly reserves the right to adjust these limits with reasonable notice.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the App
- Use the AI checker to replace emergency veterinary care
- Submit false or misleading information
9. Intellectual Property
All content, design, graphics, and code within Furrly are the intellectual property of the developer. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.
10. Third-Party Services
The App integrates third-party services including Google AdMob, Groq AI, and RevenueCat. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties.
11. Advertisements
Free tier users will see advertisements provided by Google AdMob. By using the free tier, you consent to the display of these advertisements. Premium subscribers will not see ads.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR FREE OF VIRUSES. YOUR USE OF THE APP IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA OR HARM TO YOUR PET RESULTING FROM RELIANCE ON APP CONTENT.
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will update the effective date at the top of this document when changes are made.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing other remedies.
