Thank you for using Furrly. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

a) Information You Provide
- Pet profiles: name, species, breed, age, gender, and photo
- Health records: vet visits, medications, vaccines, and weight entries
- Symptom descriptions entered into the AI checker
b) Automatically Collected Information
- Device type and operating system version (for crash reporting)

- Advertising identifiers (for showing ads to free users)
c) Information We Do NOT Collect
- Your name, email address, or any account information (no sign-in required)

2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected to:
- Provide and improve the core features of the app
- Send local notifications for medication reminders and vaccine due dates
- Process AI symptom check queries via a third-party AI service (Groq)
- Display relevant advertisements to free-tier users via Google AdMob
- Analyze usage patterns to improve app performance and user experience
3. Data Storage
All pet health data (profiles, medications, vaccines, vet visits, weight entries) is stored locally on your device only. We do not upload or sync this data to any server. If you delete the app, all locally stored data is permanently removed.
4. Third-Party Services
Furrly uses the following third-party services which have their own privacy policies:
- Google AdMob — displays advertisements to free users. AdMob may collect advertising identifiers and usage data. See: policies.google.com/privacy
- Groq API — powers the AI symptom checker. Symptom text you enter is sent to Groq's servers for processing. See: groq.com/privacy
- RevenueCat — manages in-app subscriptions. No financial data is shared with us directly. See: revenuecat.com/privacy
5. App Tracking Transparency (iOS)
On iOS 14.5 and above, Furrly will request permission to track your activity across apps and websites for personalized advertising. You can deny this permission and the app will continue to function normally, though ads may be less relevant.
6. Children's Privacy
Furrly is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
7. Data Retention
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you are in full control. You can delete individual records within the app or uninstall the app to remove all data. We do not retain any personal data on our servers.
8. Your Rights
Since we do not collect or store your personal data on our servers, there is no data for us to provide, correct, or delete on our end. For any data held by third-party services listed above, please refer to their respective privacy policies.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
