Follow the steps to troubleshoot internet connectivity problem
- First change the device or laptop to see if the wifi or lan cable is working or not.
- If the other device is working, that indicates that problem is with your device.
- Now check the devices adapter setting Click the internet icon at the bottom ( For Window 10 )
- Right Click and open Networking and Sharing Center Go to change adapter setting on the left
- Now the window will show ethernet connectivity icon right click and disable the connection from the top menu wait for one minute and turn it on again.
It should work if it doesn't then continue the steps below
- Right click the ethernet icon and go to properties,
- Click the internet protocol version 4 ( double click )
- Select obtain ip address automatically
- And select obtain DNS automatically.
- Basically you are letting DHCP to assign ip address automatically.
- Now it should work after a computer restart.
